										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you were collecting a library of essential works on conservation, ecology, and biodiversity, what books would you include?</p>
<p>My sister Rosemary and I have been talking about this from the standpoint of what a well-read citizen activist&#8217;s life list of books would include. We&#8217;ve started with a few of our favorite titles:</p>
<p><em>A Sand County Almanac</em>, by Aldo Leopold</p>
<p><em>Silent Spring</em>, by Rachel Carson</p>
<p><em>The Diversity of Life</em>, by Edward O. Wilson</p>
<p>What are your favorites?  Please add your titles to our list, and if you&#8217;re so inclined, tell us what you like about them.
