Southwest Chapter Presents Mike Homoya April 12
Where and when: Saturday, April 12, 7:00 pm, University of Southern Indiana, Mitchell Auditorium
“Wild Ferns of Indiana” is the topic of Mike Homoya’s presentation on native Indiana ferns–their identification, morphology, and reproduction. The program is free and open to the public. The event is cosponsored by SW-INPAWS and the USI Botany Dept.
Always an entertaining speaker, Mike Homoya is Indiana’s state botanist and plant ecologist and author of Wildflowers and Ferns of Indiana Forests: A Field Guide and Orchids of Indiana, both from Indiana University Press.
This event follows Mike’s Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve hike which is the morning of April 12.
