Members-Only Coach Tour to West Central Ohio, June 21–23
Indiana Native Plant Society is pleased to offer its members a rare opportunity to explore nature preserves, natural areas and gardens of the west central region of our neighboring state, Ohio.
INPS member Mark Zelonis created and planned this stellar field trip with visits to nature preserves and natural areas that feature fens, wetlands, prairies, woodlands, and deep gorges—plus an arboretum.
We will explore Aullwood Garden, Cox Arboretum, Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve, Glen Helen Ecology Institute of Antioch College, Cedar Bog Nature Preserve, Siebenthaler Fen, Sugarcreek Metropark, and Aullwood Audubon Center. Many of these are state– or nationally-recognized natural landmarks. Experts will accompany us at some.
This three-day, two-night chartered bus tour begins at
8:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2019
and concludes at
5:30 PM, Sunday, June 23.
We park and board the bus at the north edge of St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 100 West 86th Street, Indianapolis.
