David Sollenberger, Seed Bank Manager at Chicago Botanic Garden, tells the story of the Dixon National Tallgrass Prairie Seed Bank—past, present and future.
The origin of the Dixon Seed Bank was as partner to the international Millennium Seed Bank Project in the UK. After its contributions to MSBP, DNTPSB changed its focus and grew into a major repository
of native plant seeds for the Midwest.
