Invasives Removal at Marott Nature Preserve May 1
Central Chapter’s Invasives Swat Team is planning a volunteer day to remove garlic mustard at Marott Nature Preserve, a natural area owned by Indy Parks. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot on College Ave. on Wednesday, May 1, at 5:00 p.m., and work until about 8:00. Anyone who can’t make it by 5:00 is still welcome to join whenever they can get there. There will still be plenty of garlic mustard to pick.
The property is located on the southeast corner of E. 75th St. and College Ave., just South of the Indiana School for the Blind.
