Public Forum on Pollinator Protection March 31
There will be a public forum on the Indiana pollinator protection plan, which President Obama’s memorandum asked states to develop. This will be all day March 31 at the Purdue Beck Center at the research farm on US 52 in West Lafayette.
INPAWS’ Ellen Jacquart will be in attendance in her capacity as a member of the Indiana Pesticide Review Board.
Says Ellen, “It is likely that most of the attendees will be representing honeybee concerns, but my hope is that we also have attendees who care about the native pollinator losses we are seeing and what we can do to abate that loss. I encourage you to consider attending, and sharing this with others who might be interested.”
Details including a meeting invitation, agenda, location map, and registration form are available at http://www.oisc.purdue.edu/pesticide/p3.html. There is no charge for attending this meeting, but pre-registration by MARCH 23, 2015 is required for planning purposes.
