Draft Indiana Pollinator Protection Plan Available for Comment
Ellen Jacquart, who sits on the Indiana Pesticide Review Board (IPRB), has sent us a link to the first draft of the Indiana Pollinator Protection Plan (5-31-15).
Indiana Pollinator Protection Plan (5-31-15)
This first draft was developed based largely on discussions from the March 31, 2015 Pollinator Protection Plan Development Meeting. In consideration of the fact that there was a significant amount of input at the first meeting, it is anticipated that this draft is likely to undergo numerous additions, edits, and revisions.
As stated it the plan itself, it is the current intent of the IPRB to facilitate the subsequent development of this plan through the quarterly IPRB meeting schedule. IPRB meetings are open to the public, and all stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the process.
The IPRB will conduct a public discussion of this plan on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, starting at 9:00 AM at the Tippecanoe County Cooperative Extension Service Office, 3150 Sagamore Parkway South (U.S. 52), Lafayette, IN.
Those of you interested in commenting but unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to send your first round of comment to Board Secretary Dave Scott at scottde@purdue.edu .
